Nick, there are many issues equally as important as the seat shifters. The fact that sheer numbers, normally business passengers, are more concerned with one aspect of the new policy, does NOT mean the other issues are not important to high value BA customers and so can be discounted.
I wasn't implying that there aren't other issues of importance - merely observing that by volume the seat shifting appears to be the top issue in these forums. Clearly there are a number of other issues that continue to affect numbers of people - such as I class, what Blues get (or not), and the ability to link bookings.
Whilst I have no responsibility for the policy, I know that the people who do are aware of these, and we'll all have to wait and see if anything changes.
