Thoughts on Moevenpick

I have never stayed at a Moevenpick property before but I will be staying at the Moevenpick Tower and Suites in Doha in a couple of months time. has anyone stayed here before? How was it? I noticed there is a $200 fee to join Moevenpick's affinity program which I don't think I will be doing.
