USA Today: "ShoeScanner" fails to achieve goals

Those of you in MCO, who are part of the Registered Traveler program, apparently were promised that you wouldn't have to take off your shoes once a new ShoeScanner machine was installed.

Turns out, this isn't the case - if your shoes have any metal in them at all, the ShoeScanner won't work, and you still have to take off your shoes!
