They are. I've flown them from AMS a couple of times and try to book on 319's/320's to avoid them. First time I was scheduled on the 321 I was looking forward to it, but you are definitely better off on the older, smaller aircraft for seat pitch.

The real entertainment starts when they swap out a 319/320 for operational reasons and then move everyone in the first 10 rows of ET to the very back of the aircraft if the load is light to maintain the trim of the aircraft.....don't worry.....I'm sure I can hear the violin's playing from the fortunate folk who get to fly CE all the time.
