Proper compensation for broken ent system?
I had to endure a flight from PEK-DTW with no working light or entertainment system. I tried to switch seats but all other biz class seats were occupied. I sent a letter to NW about this requesting some compensation. I suggested 25K miles or a $400 travel voucher. I stated that in my opinion the three major advantages to biz class are better food, better seats and better entertainment. Since one of the 3 was not available, some reasonable compensation was in order. I received a nice reply and 10K miles were added to my account. Has anyone had a similar experience, and if so, is my compensation in line with what you received? I thought my request was more than reasonable considering the difference in biz class and economy class tickets.
