It's just a shame that a number of the pax don't treat them with the respect they deserve.
This is carryover from the Cultural Revolution.
The younger, more worldly, adults are a lot better with the hell to you, cut your own mother off the cliff mentality.
But what's prevalent is indeed very ugly, so much so that it can override perceptions that things really are changing.
The younger folks are cognizant of this, too, and want it to be better.
