I don't think I would risk it, no matter what the agent tells you, because that agent may just go home at some point.

And to top it off, i do not believe you can use the entertainment discount for WBC fares. I tried to do this last month BOS FRA with a very helpful csr and met no luck even though i met all the other requirements, like no Friday Sunday travel, etc. The rules state discount from "available coach fare."

Or maybe I should have called back and tried another agent. Ironically, eventually I booked on CO in K (no HOKEY upgrade) for $720 with the entertainment discount, but was bumped from EWR for $700 worth of vouchers, and ended up JFK to AMS on NW the next day, not in WBC but at least in the exit row aisle preassigned. With the fold down jumpseat just in front, it turned out to be pretty comfortable.
