That may not be entirely accurate anymore. I made GM with an AZ MXP-YYZ flight on 12/31 that didn't post until about 1/7. The change in status showed up yesterday, 1/14. Yesterday morning I called SMS to have our SM numbers re-keyed to reflect our new status on an upcoming flight (wife made PM on the same flight). To the surprise of both me and the SMS agent, the change in status was already reflected on the reservation. This may be something new in 2007.
