Thanks for the advice. Looking through some other threads in the Singapore section I came across the web site for Travlocity's Zuji service. I managed to configure two one-way tickets into something workable -- a Srilankan Airlines flight up at 7:25 in the morning, and a Jal on the way back at 9:25pm.

Round-trip for two people US$152, including taxes and fees.

I'm not worried about Jal because I've flown them a dozen times. But Srilankan is new to me. I figured I'm safe because it's the frist flight of the day and there's plenty of time to fix if something goes wrong.

Does anyone know anything about Srilankan and whether I should be concerned?
