Paper Ticket Charge
Not sure if I have a leg to stand on here or not....
We booked this afternoon a one way BA flight from Bari (Italy) to Edinburgh Via Gatwick. Booked direct with BA on the website but could not pay for the flights on line had to call up (but they were reserved on line)
The flights were about €120 each or something but when my boyfriend called up to pay for them they said that on top of that fare there was a £15 charge each for paying by a credit card not billed in Euros and a £25 charge each for the issue of a paper ticket. Neither of these charges were shown on the BA website or if they were I can not see them being very obvious on it.
I have since discovered doing a test booking with Expedia that I could have got the same tickets through them for the same cost (ie €120 converted into pounds) but without either of the two charges (ie saving £80 between us).
Do I have a case for claiming anything through a price promise by BA?
