Stick with familiar Bose QC2 or get QC3?
Hello, first time posting onto this forum.
Over the weekend, I busted my old Bose QuietComfort2 Headphones. It has provided me with the best inflight quietness it could offer these past several years, but alas, all physical things must come to an end.
I recently learned that Bose has a newer model called the QC3 out, which is smaller, lighter, yet provides the same quietness as the QC2.
But by the looks of it, I have my doubts whether this new "on-the-ear" design can actually provide the same level of quietness as the "over-the-ear" design of the QC2. And moreso, while it is much smaller, it requires a charger which I am wonder if it can provide the ample length of time than the standard battery that was used for the QC2.
Does anyone here had any experience with the QC3? The QC3 costs about $50 more than the QC2, so I want to know if that extra $50 is actually going to be worth it. Otherwise I'll stick with the QC2.
Thanks in advance.
