I don't argue with you that baggage irregularities are one of the areas where no carrier, that I am aware of, does a good job. And it would certainly appear that there might be some shenanigans afoot in South Africa with Delta bags. I spent a weekend once in NYC without bags because of Delta incompetence, FWIW.
Having said that, had DL not been serving the market, how would you have gotten to South Africa? The very fact that Delta has entered this market, and dared to compete, gives me a reason "to be upbeat about DL."
I think 85% is most likely profitable. Still sounds like there is very little traffice to/from DKR.
