The I-dine program seems to be showing some more weird aspects too.
Recent feature noted:for some restaurants listed, you wont get credit (even if you use a registered card) unless you get a confirmation from the website.

On Monday went to the site and attempted to book a reservation at Typhoon in Chicago for 330pm, i-dine site down for "maintaince" telephoned i-dine and was told " no more available spaces" it appears the restaurant alots a few slots for idine ( or idine buys a few slots) How busy can a restuarant be at 330pm on a Monday??

I see this trend of listing restuarants and diners having to paticipate into a lottery for a few available spaces when the place is obviously not busy, a bloody joke. Cant see how those listings can be any use to anybody, unfortunately I notice more and more of these places popping up on the website.

It is not neccesarily true that the original poster will get credit without a card receipt.
i-dine has denied me credit even with
a card receipt for visiting one of those confirmation required places even when I had a printed copy of the page where you are required to click-through to get a confirmation (number of attempts could not access final site page for confirmation)
