not necessarily... I remember when a Canadian DC-10 tried to abort a takeoff from YVR when they lost an engine. Turns out they should have taken off on 2 and come back, was too fast to abort. Went off the end of the runway, tore the bottom of the plane off from the nosegear back. Took the better part of a year, but CP rebuilt it. I think the insurance company will make the decision....
