The emergency chute housing will definitely be an obstruction to you given your height.

I normally go for 44A/K on an overnight flight rather than 44C/H because I feel the benefit of being able to lean against the wall is worth sacrificing the extra shoulder room you get from seat C/H. But then I am only 5'10.

Another benefit I find with A/K is that they are further from the toilet, marginally.
