It's LH - UA that's the problem. Intra-Europe connections aren't bad -- it's just a humongous airport. Thing is, for flights back to the U.S., MUC is so much easier.
Have to agree with that.
However, my wife and I recently travelled to FRA on SQ (C class) and made a connection to an LH European flight all within an hour (and had a cup of coffee in the Senator lounge as well).
It helped that both flights were in the same terminal (B), just a few hundred metres apart. Luck of the draw really.
