CX Y on a 744
I read every single possible thread on FT and Cathaytalk about exit row/bulkhead seating in Y on a Cathay 744, and have snagged 44C for LAX-HKG-SFO, but I keep thinking maybe I should give 44A a try? On such a long flight, I'd really rather be a little more out of the way, but everything I've read makes the door sound like a real obtrusion. I flew 44A last year, but only NRT-HKG, and a family member was in 44B, so I probably could angle my legs with no problem. Does being able to lean/sleep on the wall make 44A worth the slight hassle?
How much room is there in row 30--there isn't nearly as much specific information about 30 as opposed to 44? I'm 6'5" , so should I just forget about it altogether?
Thanks!
