My question, although aggressive, is a serious one. Assume that the planes are both configured with similar hardware and 10 channels, non-interactive (either tape or CD-based) so the fixed cost/depreciation is the same. How much more does it cost to run the system with first-run movies and content versus third-rate crap? A case of penny-wise and pound-foolish?
