The 7,700 HGVClub® bonus points may be the "standard" amount that they give. Not sure. BUT...I have heard of people gettting as much as 250000 HHonors points offered as a bonus (~10,869 HGVC points). If you're really serious about owning, bargain with them during the presentation and ask for more bonus points - you can definitely get more than whatever the first offer is, as they have flexibility and want to make a sale.
