I am probably going to be staying at the Ritz Battery Park over Memorial Day weekend - 4 nights. We are planning on staying Harbour View Club Level. Can anyone give any feedback on their Club service? The rate details says Four daily food and beverage presentations are offered as follow
* Continental Breakfast 6 30am TO 10 30am
* Mid-Day Lunch Snacks 11 30am TO 1 30pm
* Afernoon Tea (upon request) 3 00pm TO 5 00pm
* Cocktails 5 30pm TO 7 30pm
* Cordials 8 00pm TO 10 00pm

Why is Afternoon Tea available "upon request"? Sounds like they my be trying to skimp on the usual spread.

Also, I am a former Manhattanite and know the city very well, but does anyone have any honest recent comments on the commute to Broadway Theatre District and Central Park? How bad can it be?
