Welcome to US. Don't expect any emails....although you may get lucky and get something (never seen flight status emails though), but lots of folks say the don't get any of the emails that they are supposed to. For example, elites SHOULD get an email with the status of their "automatic" upgrade....in my experience (and many others), neither the email nor the automatic part of the process work. An email would be nice though, especially for delays! (or a text message for those of us that don't carry our email with us)
