I will be starting a new state-based job in BNE this year, and have the option of a sponsored overseas conference attendence. I have previously travelled from TSV-ISA on CC booked by corporate travel, and found the booking was ineligible for points or SC's.
I believe I have seen discussion that Government travel may be eligible for SC's but not points. Is this perhaps a federal condition rather that state?
Otherwise it might be better personally to book the travel component personally, in the interests of continuing my chase to WP in 2007
Any experience from the learned QF FT community would be appreciated.
