Similar to South Florida...although PBI is the worst...a bunch of old geezer condo commandos somehow turned into Sheriff Auxiliary...nasty and mean. Over the years, I've flipped some of them the bird and told a couple of them off...and I don't care what level I sunk to, they just pushed my buttons so I pushed some of theirs right back.

The goons at FLL are real deputies, and given the reputation of the Broward Sheriff's Office (think Gestappo, KGB, Stasi and Barney Fife all rolled into one), it's best not to say anything to them...just ignore them and move on. They're more likely to just beat someone to death rather than argue the point.

On the other hand, I spent a good 40 minutes parked on the arrivals level at BOS along with a bunch of other cars after 11pm, waiting for arriving passengers. No patrols and no one said a word. Go figure.
