Hmm. It doesn't make a ton of sense to walk someone with 23 stays over a lame-o photo i.d. req't. None, in fact.

I left the GM a voicemail asking the status and have not heard back. If 5 PM comes around with no response, I'll cancel the reservation and make one at the Sheraton NY & Towers, where I've spent 10-12 nights this year. That will mean a longer car ride in the AM, but I think I'll have a better chance of convincing them that I'm me. And maybe the SPG call center could have better luck convincing them as well.
You can always do that if they deny you.
