I just used a CRP-GDL reservation I had to cancel last year for a CRP BOS ticket.

I had to rebook in my name. I could NOT transfer to my wife.

I had to PAY (not use part of the value of the ticket) the $100 change fee.

I had $80ish left over that the issued to me by mail as an electronic travel certificate which had an extra year of validity.

I might take a cheap flight somewhere if you are running out of time and get a big electronic travel certificate.
