Right now, and I would assume then as well, we have a Commercial Policy which allows us to make changes to tickets if an immediate family member has died. Sounds like you got lousy service - something I personally am doing my best to rectify.

And you're a frequent flyer? I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe that a frequent flyer has never heard of a non changeable ticket. It sounds very corporate but "IT IS ALL THERE IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS" Its also explained to you over the phone by the agent, or its perfectly clear on the internet if thats where you made your purchase.

However, almost all of our tickets are now changeable for a fee so you would be forgiven (but not have your ticket changed ) for thinking yours would be.
