I agree with you on the redemption issue. Over the last few weeks I have been trying to use some of my few tons of miles for either transatlantic upgrades are domestic coach class travel.
In either case there is not a single award seat available anymore for like the next year or so unless you want to leave on like the 6:40 AM flight to MSP.

Overall I do like NWA however the getting an award seat on any flight is like mision impossible. I truly wish NWA would increase the numberof award seats.
