I don't know what kind of credit card resources your friend has, but he/she could always buy an unrestricted ticket, eat with you inside security, and then refund the ticket. It's been done before. I've also heard of people "modifying" an old or future eTicket using Word or FrontPage to make them look like they're flying that day. I wouldn't recommended it, but it is an option.
