FQTV PERK, AFAIK doesn't really stand for anything, they just put it on ALL elite tickets. I flew on a paid DTW-LAX last week in Y--no upgrade but my boarding pass said Mr. California Goat, Gold Elite, Seat 21D FQTV PERK. Since when is 21D on a NW 757 a perk--it was the worst flight I've had in quite a while. Oh--wait a sec--I know, the PERK must have been when the FAs made their second pass through the cabin 3 1/4 hrs into the flight and offered 1/3 of a plastic glass of water--I didn't know it was for FQTVs only.
