I am considering starting some of my future DONE4 trips from NRT . I normally book my ticket with the AA NA RTW desk and then contact the local AA office and have them e-ticket it ( I limit it to 16 segments as I have not found anybody that can do a 20 segment e-ticket ) . In the past I have either faxed , e-mailed , or given my CC details over the phone . This arrangement stops the need to get a physical ticket and all the problems that can occur. I have looked at the Japan taxes and have not found any sales or vat taxes that raise the ticket price any higher than the other countries I have used . Any info appreciated.
