Northwest Adds Larger Jets and More Flights to Traverse City for Summer Travel Season

http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/020411/mnth022_1.html

Usualy, I wouldn't care less for such a press release, especially when I have no idea where Traverse City is!
But, something cought my eye on this:
-- Effective May 1, one flight will be upgraded from a 34-passenger Saab
turbo-prop to a DC9-30, able to accommodate a total of 100 passengers
in Northwest's standard two-class configuration of 16 seats in First
Class and 84 seats in Coach Class.
-- Effective June 7, a third frequency will be upgraded from a DC9 to a
Boeing 727 with a capacity of 149 passengers, with 12 seats in First
Class and 137 seats in Coach Class.
-- Effective July 1, another flight will be upgraded from a 50-passenger
Canadair regional jet to a DC9, able to accommodate a total of 100
passengers in Northwest's standard two-class configuration.

Upgrade to DC9? , and then upgrade a DC9 to a 727?
What next - pull out a DC8 and 707 from a wharehouse and upgrade to it?
It looks more and more like another CO "enhancement"!
