Besides, it there is a mere handful of pax getting off and getting on at DKR, it may be more worthwhile to simply call this a tech refueling stop and avoid all the expense of operating DKR as a passenger station. For example, no need to have luggage unloaded and loaded etc if there are no pax.

I suspect that going forward, the DKR stop will become more important. Kenya AW may provide codeshare opportunities for onward destinations and eventually, Royal Air Maroc and its subsidiary may as well.
