United Mileage to Europe

So my itinerary for a trip that I got to go on with the company (only 2 days of work, the rest is leisure as a gift from 2006 sales) is:

2/6/07 - United Airlines 902 IAD (Dulles)-MUC (Boeing 777) SEAT-34E
2/12/07 - Condor Airlines 842 MUC-Rome (Airbus A320) SEATING AVAILABLE AT AIRPORT CHECK IN ONLY
2/15/07 - United Airlines 8801 - Rome - Frankfurt (Airbus A320) SEATING AVAILABLE AT AIRPORT CHECK IN ONLY
2/15/07 - United Airlines 8827 - Frankfurt - IAD (Dulles) (Boeing 747) SEAT-55C

I only have about 6k miles on United and 6k miles on USAirways, I hear they are the same? Can I combine/merge these miles into one? United won't let me login so I can't really see what it costs to upgrade to first class or if it is even worth it and when I call USAirways to find out if I can they initially told me that United and USAirways do not even operate together...

I'm a pretty big guy (6'4" 250ish lbs') and I don't want to get stuck in a bad seating arrangment. I'm traveling with my CEO and Vice President whom both are like platinum members so of course they're both going first class.

Will they let me get a emergancy row exit if I go or call them? It's so hard to get through to them that I rather ask first before calling. If you look at the seating assignments, I'm in a middle seat and that can absolutely not fly. I rather sit on the floor.

[EDIT] Naturally, I look in my email inbox and I see a email stating that I'll earn 2500 bonus miles if I book between Jan 8-March 31... I booked on Jan 5th. Is there any hope of getting that?
