Hi:

I am a newbie. I would like to book (not bid) for a 4* hotel (Herodion) in Athens as the room rate looks good and the location is central. Dates of stay would be Nov 24 to 26, 2007 (2 nights) and we would like to lock in the room rate now (hotel's website is showing 193 Euro per night) but would like to make sure that there would NOT be any problem changing or cancelling our reservation.

Up until I have to input my credit card info, I noted that there is a cancellation policy of 48 hours before the first day of stay. I haven't booked a hotel with Priceline before and am wondering if there would be any problem cancelling and/or revising the dates of my booking at a later date. I will be booking 4 double rooms for 2 nights so the amount would be substantial to me.

If anyone has booked vs. bid though PL, I would appreciate your input on this matter.
