You are on the airport "CHECKED IN" priority stand by list perhaps up to 22 hours ahead of the folks who check in at the airport.

This is a VERY, VERY good way to make sure you are ahead of other elites.

I have had the misfortune of not using the NWA Com checkin out of LAX and SFO on recent trips and finding out that I am 6 or 7 on the Platinum elite standby list because others have used the NWA com checkin prior to my checking in at the airport.

Use it whenever you can!
