It was raining heavy at times overnight (Sun night) till around 3pm today (Mon) the winds werte pretty strong at times also.

The Holland Tunnel to NYC from NJ was pretty much closed this morning even before the Rush Hour started due to flooding on all the approach roads. 1st rain in a very long time in NY/NJ.

Even so often I hear a plane going overhead taking off from EWR and I never hear them at this time of the night, so they must be using alternative runways tonight.

Even if CO had an IAH flight it wouldnt have been easy to move a group.

Not a pretty pic, but alot better then those who were in DEN the past couple of weekends or parts of Texas.

Seems their only solution is to get a Bus to take them to a Hotel wherever they can find 1. Hopefully CO can help make those arrangements, even if at the cost of the passengers, I wouldnt want to be at EWR all night after inbounding from an Intl flight such as they were on.
