I qualified in November and my pack took a little more than a month to arrive. As TK states, there's really no need for you to get the pack quickly. As suggested, I called ROP and got a letter certifying my Gold Status and used that for check-in / lounge access until my pack arrived. Other than the card, you only get two luggage tags with the pack and a sheet welcoming you to ROP Gold and explaining the benefits. There are no upgrade coupons or anything else in the pack, as the coupons are all electronic.

A bit of a related question, does anyone know how Gold members are informed of the birthday award? I didn't see any mention of it in the pack. Are you sent something by mail to inform you of it, or by e-mail? Of course I'm well aware of it due to FlyerTalk, but if not for this, I wouldn't have a clue about it and haven't received anything from ROP about it, so wonder if there's lots of ROP members out there who aren't using their birthday award because they don't know about it.
