Those seats actually have 65" of pitch, to compnesate for the middle seat. 7 across in BC on a 747 is pretty standard. The only airline I am aware of that put 6 across in business class on a 747 was Pan Am, and I'm not sure it was such a great success. At least it is better than 8 across on British Airways' New Club World lie-flat seat.

During their last config. to 60" pitch, why did they leave the middle seats? On the 744, there are 41 seats--3 of them in the middle.
I would think it would be a great marketing oppty to say *every* seat is on a window or aisle--like CO & DL often brag. I realize these 2 carriers don't have jumbo jet 747s in their fleet, but I can't imagine these 3 middle seats get much use anyway.
