NW seems to do that quite often, I'm not quite sure why. A friend of mine had a "direct" NW flight from NW to ANC, but it was a two hour layover in MSP and a change of gate and aircraft.

According to http://webx25.nwa.com/cgi-bin/flifo2...&r_dst_apt=MCO flight 47 is a DC-10 from AMS, but it's a 757 from DTW.

I wonder how many people on that flight have two seat assignments for the same flight number?
