I think people need to stop blaming external sources of pollution and focus on the real problem - heavy vehicles in Hong Kong.
I must note though that in the South of the island the air is no worse than in the suburbs of any major US city.
Notwithstanding the buses, etc., it's been well documented that the major source in the poor air quality is the industrialization of southern China and the lack of controls....anyone who has visited donguan, etc. breathes it on a daily basis.
