Just what the hell is going on at BA and especially LGW these days? Is there a highly paid committee which convenes every day to brainstorm new and highly effective ways to piss of the premium customers BA's entire business model relies upon? Is BA in 2007 some kind of sick joke? A bad dream I've yet to wake up from?

I don't think I've ever used those '4 special desks' in my life. Why? Because there's always a queue (contrast to the old FIRST/Gold line which was usually a doddle). So well done BA, take 4 desks which are already too busy for premium pax (Club/Silver) and now make your most premium pax of all (FIRST/Gold) queue there too, further delaying everyone there as a result.
