I'll actually answer the question then: head to Chinatown and poke around. On Pagoda St and nearby there are a lot of stores selling generic Asian crap and a lot of antique stores selling both real stuff and fakes, and I'm pretty sure I remember seeing swords in there somewhere. Expect to pay S$100 or so, plus hassles at Customs for free.
