Illegal aliens come in because the USA needs them. As the population ages this need for young aliens will become larger and larger. An economy has to have balance and today there is an imbalance [young versus old people] that illegal aliens only begin to fill. Today there is no realistic mechanism for these people that are needed and are good for the USA economy to come in.

Making aliens legal brings them into our tax system, increases their wages, and more fundamentally brings young people into our economic system that are and will more and more be fundamentally needed.
What planet are you living on??? INCREASE THEIR WAGES???

I live in the middle of a VERY large illegal population in the Arizona desert. And my company's Missouri office is based in the same town as the US' third largest hog producer.

The people picking melons less than 1 mile from my house AVERAGE over $125.00 per day CASH. Sure, they may work 10-11 hours per day. But $125.00 per day is a far cry from slave wages.

My husband is an engineer at the US' largest nuclear plant. The average starting wage at the plant for unskilled, common labor is $12.38 per hour LESS TAXES and SS. Additionally, you have to speak English, go through an FBI background check, drug test, and take and pass all kinds of nuclear classes BEFORE you go to work. The farm workers make more than the nuclear workers. AND the nuclear plant works 10 hour shifts.

And at the packing house in Milan, Missouri, the packing house workers are paid a MINIMUM of $7.00 per hour to start, more if they have any talents and/or speak some English. The average income in the Milan Missouri area for an average family of four is about $40,000 per year. And the average rent is $250.00 per month. The average northern Missourian is NOT living with 10 people in the same house. Did you miss Tom Brokaw's special-$14.00 per hour for shovel labor AND 18 people sharing the rent?

If I hear one more person talking about amnesty, the "poor illegals", how they are exploited and abused and need to make more money, I am going to scream. IT IS NOT TRUE.
