Advice on best use of 2 for 1 on a difficult routing

I want to fly the route below next year, and make the best use of an AMEX 2 for 1. I will be flying in Club World or First or a mix of the two. I will have to purchase connecting tickets, and some flights to get from the far east to or round Australia.

The real problem is matching the routing with an appropriate way to get a reasonably priced Business class ticket. Business fares seem to be as much as £2400, and as a result I might as well pay for the entire journey (and possibly not use BA/Oneworld), as that will only be marginally more expensive.

BA, Qantas, Cathay Pacific and possibly Dragonair will all feature in this schedule, but obviously none of the last 3 can be used with the 241.

The route is this: -

LON - PVG
PVG - MEL (probably via Sydney)
MEL - PER
PER - LON (either via Sydney to pick up BA or via Singapore/Bangkok/Tokyo)

The dates are probably not important at this point, but I am likely to spend 4-5 days in PVG, 3-4 days in MEL, and 10-14 days in PER.

Any suggestions for this routing?
