The "rent a villa" idea is a good one, as is the link you sent. I have sent emails to some properties for pricing and availability. While I speak Spanish, I speak little Portuguese, and that might be an issue, depending on how "equipped" or "serviced" the villa is. The more "service" available, the less important my Portuguese, I think. I am also still waiting a reply from Nannai on pricing. All things considered, we like a hotel because it makes everything so easy but, as mentioned, the hotel's pricing for its villas is very high. And, we would get much more space with a villa.

I will update when I get back information. I figure if I am making this inquiry someone else out there may have the same questions down the line too.
