Spent 10 days a the Pitrizzia two years ago...Fantastic...worth every penny. Room looked out over the water...reserved beach chairs...water views everywhere. Food was fantastic....though $1200 per night for 2 of us.

Cervo is the cheaper sister to this....more of a coference hotel...when they have the regattas or events in Porto Cervo, this hotel often serves as the base. This hotel is located in the middle of the little "town" so you are not beholden to the high priced meal plans per se. When you are at the Romazzino or Pitrizzia your rate includes the food which kept you sitting there looking at the water and pinching yourself that it was real.

If you have a car, and the rate is inexpensive...stay at the Cervo and save your points....Drive around and enjoy. The bays and inlets are beautiful.
