I had taken the outbound portion of my international award ticket and since have had dates changed on the return perksaver resulting in a 30K miles difference on 12/31. You don't say what status you are, and how long before your return flight is. I've had times where it shows "locked" miles for months, on ticket that are 4 or 5 months out. I generally call in, and they usually process them right away. If you're a plat, there won't be a charge to change the ticket, otherwise, there is, so you should make sure they have your credit card number to cover the fee.
