I know, this is great! I am in Calgary, which has a decent selection. At least they're not unknown restaurants (popular Cannery Row is one of the highlights). They always post quickly, too, within 24 hours in my case!

The AA Rewards Network website treats US and Canadian dollars equallly when posting the miles awarded. They do not convert a higher amount of CDN spent to a lower amount of USD equivalent.
For US visitors to Canada, this provides a 16% premium of miles awarded based on current exchange rates.
