Besides the fact that it's a "public" place, it's also a workplace. IMHO, I don't think that flight attendants (of any gender) should be subject to working in an environment where people are watching XXX porn on screens large enough to be seen by others.
To be fair to the person whom I saw today which was the starting point of this thread, he was looking at a magazine rather than a screen, and the magazine was Japanese, so I am assuming that there was lots of mosaic rather than XXX content. We were also travelling in F, so he had a decent amount of privacy. Of course other posters have mentioned people watching videos, which I do think is pushing it.
