A similar thing happened to me lately with a US flight. It's either accept the alternate arrangements or a refund. I would do a bit of research on alternatives before you talk to them if you can. I ended up refunding...but it was more than a month out so I was able to pick up something easily on CO for the same price as I had originally paid US.
